In December, the sun was fierce, and the air was filled with the smell of Omixon.

With the adjustment of the epidemic prevention and control policy, all parts of the country have successively ushered in the peak of infection, all the pressure has suddenly transmitted to the hospital, the number of positive patients has increased sharply, the number of medical staff has been greatly reduced due to infection, the colleagues around us have fallen down due to infection, and the family around us have also been infected with fever No disaster has come so suddenly.

Protecting health, preventing serious diseases and rescuing emergencies are new tasks for epidemic prevention and control. In the face of this new test, the hospital staff of Xi'an International Medical Center did not flinch or "fall".

Batch after batch of minor injuries did not get off the line of fire;

Group after group lined up to charge;

Batch after batch rushed up;

It shows the extraordinary responsibility and responsibility of the hospital staff of Xi'an International Medical Center.
Fever clinics, emergency centers and intensive care units are the first battlefields for doctors to fight against death. In the days when COVID-19 hit, there was not only competition with the virus, but also all-out treatment, relay and companionship.

In a short week, all medical staff of Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital gathered a positive force to protect the health of the people while fighting against the virus.
Dr. Zhu Hong, the head of the fever clinic, has not returned home for more than two months. According to the requirements of the hospital, since October 3, all staff of the fever clinic have implemented closed-loop management, and he and his colleagues have lived in the hospital.

In the recent week, many patients with COVID-19 symptoms came to see the doctor. The workload of fever clinics increased sharply, and the complexity of the patient's condition also increased. Dr. Zhu Hong and head nurse Chen Li led all medical staff to stay on duty 24 hours a day. "There are a lot of patients. We work three shifts all day, and the staff on duty in the late morning are very hard. But we didn't ask for leave to rest, and all continue to work," said Dr. Zhu Hong.

Over the past six days, 5525 patients have visited the fever clinic, with an average of 921 daily visits, of which the maximum number of daily visits is 1148. The average positive rate among the patients is 75%, with a maximum of 85.3%. Up to now, 66.7% of medical staff in fever clinics have COVID-19 symptoms. Except one patient with severe symptoms who is hospitalized, the rest of them stick to their posts.
Protective clothing, gloves, goggles, masks, face screens All medical staff took strict protective measures. Many people were burning, and sweat in their protective clothing wetted their clothes, and their cheeks were red. "We also have a lot of post-90s young people who are very responsible and strong. They are too busy to eat at ordinary times, and they are panting when they walk in protective clothing. A doctor is pregnant and is due for delivery in two months, and is still at work." In the view of Dr. Zhu Hong, every medical staff has never been afraid of the virus, and has bravely faced the risk. We have joined forces to declare war against the virus fearlessly, and vowed to protect the patients.

"Excuse me, hurry up the emergency!" "The 120 ambulance will arrive immediately and be ready to pick it up!"... At the emergency center, the rapid footsteps of doctors and nurses, the painful groans of patients, and the sounds of various rescue instruments are intertwined, and a race against time starts again.
"I have to take a drink." Dr. Wang Bao, who was suffering from a high fever, picked up the dextral ibuprofen on the cabinet. It turns out that this is the emergency medicine for the medical staff in the emergency center. After 24 hours of continuous transfer, when you are exhausted and your temperature is too high, you should take a quick drink of anti-fever medicine and then continue to work.

Up to now, there are 110 employees in the emergency center, including 40 doctors, 56 nurses and 14 drivers. More than 90% of them have COVID-19 symptoms to varying degrees, but none of them ask for leave due to illness and stick to their jobs.

"The number of patients is three times that of the past, and our department staff are sticking to the disease. From the pre-hospital emergency to the hospital emergency room, four medical groups, from the emergency positive ward to the emergency medical department and surgical outpatient department, are particularly united. Several people have a high fever of 40 degrees, and when the fever subsides, they hurry back to work." said Xi Haobo, chief resident of the emergency center.
In the face of 24 hours of continuous work intensity, Director Yu Houyou also had a high fever for a time. But considering that the department is the busiest time, he dare not take another day off. "The presence of Director Yu is our tranquilizer needle, and we all feel very secure." Chief resident physician Xi Haobo said that these days, Director Yu arranges all kinds of work in the department every day, leading everyone to carry out all emergency rescue tasks of the emergency center in an orderly manner, and further improving the operation efficiency of the emergency center on the premise of ensuring medical quality and safety.

With the increase of patients, the emergency center has become the busiest department. Nurse Fan Qiao and Nurse Guo Feng, who insisted on working with illness, said, "This is a battle without smoke of gunpowder. They fight against their own virus and help patients fight against the disease. This battle must be won!"
At one o'clock in the afternoon, Director Yuan Qingxia of the intensive care unit returned to the office. With a dry and itchy throat, she has only drunk a glass of water since seven o'clock in the morning. In recent days, she has not left the hospital. She has seven or eight consultations every day, which makes her constantly shuttle between various specialized hospitals and departments.

In just a few days, 31 of the 39 medical staff in the intensive care unit have been infected with COVID-19 successively. It can be said that more than 80% of the medical staff are positive. Even so, there are still 22 medical and nursing personnel who always stick to their posts and guard critical patients 24 hours while taking protective measures.
Seeing the medical staff in the department persist in working with illness, Director Yuan Qingxia had an unspeakable heartache. "None of us flinched. We know that there are too many patients in the department, and there are not enough staff. Many people have a fever and didn't tell me to work."

In order to keep everyone's physical strength as much as possible, Director Yuan Qingxia undertook several night shifts alone, often working from seven in the morning to the afternoon of the next day.
In addition to the patients transferred to the intensive care unit, many patients are transferred to the general ward every day under the careful treatment of medical staff. Here, meticulous care and treatment let patients see the hope of life.
