From May 29 to 30, 2023, the founding conference of the International Medical tourism Branch of the China Association of Non public Medical Institutions (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") and the first international tourism development summit forum were held in Shanghai. At the meeting, Shi Jin, Chairman of Xi'an International Medical Investment Co., Ltd., was elected as the Vice President of International Medical tourism Branch, and Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital was awarded the title of "International Medical tourism Pilot Demonstration Base".

On May 29, at the election meeting of the International Medical tourism Branch, 160 leaders and members at all levels of the first committee of the branch were elected. Shi Jin, the chairman of Xi'an International Medical Investment Co., Ltd., was elected as the vice chairman of the International Medical tourism Branch.

The next day, the conference held a grand ceremony for the issuance and unveiling of employment letters. Vice President Shi Jin and other leaders at the meeting jointly inaugurated the International Medical tourism Branch of China Association of Non public Medical Institutions.

The establishment of the branch was highly concerned by relevant international institutions, and international Medical tourism related institutions sent congratulatory videos one after another. They warmly congratulated the establishment of the branch, and hoped that after the establishment of the branch, it would be committed to enhancing mutual benefit and accommodation of bilateral Medical tourism, strengthening cooperation and exchanges, and promoting complementary advantages.

Subsequently, the conference selected 38 international Medical tourism pilot demonstration bases, including Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital, and the leaders awarded the licenses to the pilot demonstration base units.

On the scene of the conference, Ding Zhen, Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Xi'an International Medical Investment Co., Ltd., gave a special speech titled "Adhering to high-quality development and building an international Medical tourism platform" with the theme of "quality medical care - building the core competitiveness of international Medical tourism". The speech was rich in content, innovative and broad in vision, and won applause and high praise from guests on the scene.

Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital has a vibrant, technically advanced, and high-quality talent team. More than 23% of the physicians in the series hold senior technical titles, and over 50% hold master's and doctoral degrees. There are more than 100 supervisors for master's and doctoral studies, and over 500 people have served as the chairman, deputy chairman, and standing committee members of various professional associations at the national and provincial levels. As of the end of 2022, the hospital has approved 307 scientific research projects and published 217 SCI papers, with the highest impact factor of 45.04 for SCI papers and 268 patents approved. Hospital drug clinical trial institutions have undertaken 50 drug clinical trials and initiated 36 ongoing research projects.

On the basis of its own medical construction, Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital focuses on key medical fields such as "medical treatment" and "health preservation of traditional Chinese medicine", and combines high-quality tourism resources in Xi'an to develop characteristic Medical tourism service projects; By 2024, a healthy Medical tourism service system will be established with precision medicine as the guide and high-quality specialty as the feature; By 2026, the whole life cycle health Medical tourism service system, including health care, will be completed, the international advanced level of diagnosis and treatment will be synchronized, and the world-class international Medical tourism destination will be built.
