Recently, the Certification Working Committee of the China Hypertension Standards Center officially announced the list of units that have passed the re certification of the Hypertension Standards Center in 2024. At the 2024 Cardiovascular Health Conference held on December 7th, Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital was awarded the title of "Re certification Unit for Hypertension Compliance Center".

Hypertension, as a common cardiovascular disease, is the main risk factor of atherosclerosis. In order to popularize knowledge of hypertension prevention and control, standardize the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hypertension, Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital passed the national level hypertension standard center certification for the first time in 2021. The hospital joined hands with hypertension standard center alliance units such as Zhouzhi United Hospital, Wugong County People's Hospital, and Lantian Zhengxin Rehabilitation Hospital to jointly create a hypertension prevention and control system. Through free clinics, education and other activities, early screening and standardized treatment of hypertension are carried out, achieving the integration of medical and prevention, and comprehensively and cyclically maintaining and safeguarding the health of the people.

As the core leading unit, Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital Heart Hospital has been committed to standardized diagnosis and treatment of hypertension. It is a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment service unit in western China that can provide the full process, all-round medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and rehabilitation of heart disease. With a total of more than 350 beds, it has 7 wards of cardiovascular medicine, cardiovascular surgery, cardiac intervention diagnosis and treatment center, 5 surgical operating rooms, hybrid operating room, da Vinci robot operating room, electrocardiogram examination center, electrocardiogram monitoring and remote consultation center, follow-up center, and outpatient and emergency departments.
