Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the evaluation results of the 2025 Natural Science Foundation centralized acceptance application projects. Our Clinical Experimental Center has been approved for one general project by Director Yu Jun, and Dr. Jia Qingge from the Department of Reproductive Medicine has been approved for one Youth Science Fund (Class C). This marks another step forward for our university in the field of medical science research.
The National Natural Science Foundation of China is one of the main channels for supporting basic research in China. The requirements for obtaining funding projects are high, competition is fierce, and the funding rate has been decreasing year by year. Being able to obtain funding and carry out research work is an important manifestation of research strength. In order to improve the level of discipline development, our hospital has formulated long-term research incentive policies, integrated and optimized the basic conditions of scientific research, strengthened the construction of the talent team, mobilized the innovation ability of medical personnel in scientific research, and actively applied for scientific research projects at all levels, creating an active and orderly scientific research atmosphere.
In September 2024, our institute launched the mobilization work for the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation application. Under the leadership of Dean Zhang Bin, the Ministry of Medical Education visited each specialized hospital in the hospital one by one, held multiple symposiums, systematically analyzed the application situation in previous years, and carried out mobilization and deployment for this year; Organize relevant personnel to participate in three National Natural Science Foundation training sessions held by Northwest University; Organize experts to conduct initial, final, and formal reviews multiple times, and provide revision suggestions; Invite relevant experts to provide one-on-one guidance on seed projects, effectively improving the quality of project proposals. Everyone's hard work finally paid off.
Since its opening in 2019, our hospital has been approved for a total of 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects, demonstrating the continuous improvement and breakthrough of our hospital's high-level scientific research capabilities, and playing a foundational and leading role in future development.
Our hospital will continue to closely follow the national health development strategy and the forefront of disciplinary development, uphold the concept of high-quality development, forge ahead on the path of scientific research and medical technology innovation, strive to achieve new results, and contribute greater strength to safeguarding the health of the general public and achieving the goal of a "Healthy China".
